We are able to create any number of components with various sizes, shapes, and materials with our manufacturing tools.

Some molding applications require the use of vacuum forming tools instead of injection molding tools. Vacuum forming tools have several benefits that often translate to your final product. This process effectively uses one large sheet of plastic that is heated and formed into a mold. The vacuum forming tools create a vacuum in the specialized hardware which pulls the heated plastic tight to the intended mold. While this does not always guarantee a uniform thickness of the mold, it is an excellent way to be able to mass produce a large number of products quickly and cheaply. Talk to a professional at American Additive Manufacturing to learn if vacuum forming tools and processes are right for your intended project and need.

Sometimes, creating the right mold and product requires extremely high temperatures. This is sometimes necessary because of the particular molding material that is being used. Other times, extremely high temperatures are necessary in order to get the final design or product desired. This is most commonly seen in materials that are made of composites. A perfect example of a material that might require the use of autoclavable tools is anything made of vulcanized rubber. Whatever the case, high temperature procedures require the use of specific autoclavable tools. Not only are these tools necessary to perform work at high temperatures, but autoclavable tools will ultimately help you design a better product. Having the available tools means that we are able to create more products in a wider range of material options to better suit our customer's needs and wants.
