Autoclavable polymers
Ultem 1010 is the standard autoclave tooling polymer in our shop: sealed and properly designed, it survives hundreds of 350°F autoclave cycles with dimensional stability intact. We also run Polycarbonate (PC) and Ultem 9085 for thermoforming and vacuum-forming tools, plus ST-130 soluble polymer for sacrificial closed-cell composite mandrels.
