Our range of autoclavable materials is perfect for a variety of composite manufacturing applications including aerospace and automotive composite layup and trim tools, high-temperature jigs and fixtures, vacuum forming molds, thermoforming tools, and injection molding inserts.
When the geometry is closed or undercut, we print sacrificial ST-130 mandrels in a single piece. The customer lays carbon fiber over the mandrel, cures the part, and we dissolve the tool out in our wash tank, returning the final composite part ready for use. That capability has eliminated multi-piece mold programs and weeks of lead time for our customers.

Ultem™ 1010 tooling withstands repeated autoclave cycles up to 350°F while maintaining vacuum integrity. Additional materials, including Ultem™ 9085 and Polycarbonate (PC), are available for autoclavable tooling applications requiring high-temperature performance and durability.
