DMLS fuses fine metal powder layer-by-layer with a high-power laser, producing parts with mechanical properties comparable to cast metal components.

From CAD to production-ready parts.
- STEP / 01A thin layer of metal powder is spread across the build plate.
- STEP / 02A high-power laser selectively melts the powder along the cross-section of the part.
- STEP / 03The plate descends, a new layer of powder is spread, and the cycle repeats, building the part layer by layer in a controlled inert atmosphere.
- STEP / 04Post-build, parts are stress-relieved, HIP-treated, and machined to final tolerances.

Direct Metal Laser Sintering fuses fine metal powder layer by layer with a high-power laser, producing dense, near-net-shape metal parts with mechanical properties comparable to cast components once heat-treated and finished.
Parts are produced on EOS M270 and M280 systems alongside an SLM 280 selective laser melting platform for aluminum, titanium, and Inconel alloys, backed by post-build stress relief, HIP when required, and CNC finish-machining under one quality system.
