Painting

Painting & finishing

Mil-spec primers and topcoats, cabin-grade color matching, EMI shielding & coating, and FAR-compliant low-flammability finishes. Our environmentally controlled paint cell supports both small-batch flight hardware and production-run consumer parts.

Painting

Paint is not decoration on flight hardware: it is the moisture barrier, the UV shield, the flame-retardant layer, and often the only thing standing between an additive thermoplastic and its service environment.

Our paint cell is environmentally controlled, with humidity, temperature, and particulate management designed to deliver consistent finish on every part. We routinely run cabin-color-matched finishes for VIP completions and matte/textured finishes for tactical hardware.

Capabilities

Built for demanding programs.

01
Mil-spec primers

Epoxy and etch primers (MIL-PRF-23377, MIL-DTL-53022) for corrosion protection on aerospace and ground-vehicle hardware.

02
Aerospace topcoats

Polyurethane and acrylic topcoats qualified to MIL-PRF-85285: durable, UV stable, and chemically resistant.

03
FAR-compliant cabin finishes

Low-flammability, low-smoke topcoats qualified for FAR 25.853 cabin applications: cabin trim, bezels, and operator-interface parts.

04
Color matching

RAL, Pantone, and OEM-spec color matching for cabin completions, VIP interiors, and program-specific liveries.

05
Surface preparation

Abrasion, plasma, and chemical surface prep tailored to substrate, ensuring topcoat adhesion across Ultem, PEEK, Antero, and SLS nylon.

06
Masking & multi-tone

Hand and CNC-cut masking for multi-tone finishes, logo application, and feature-specific paint schemes.
